A seminar on on Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Accreditation

 A seminar on on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Accreditation” was held on November 06, 2017 at IIUC Auditorium, where teachers of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, and Faculty of Business Studies were present. Prof. Dr. Md. Delawer Hossain, Hon’ble Pro VC & IQAC-Director, IIUC, conducted the session with power point presentation. He discussed the importance about the issues on Academic   Quality Work, Components of OBE, Program Educational Objectives (PEO), Program and Course Outcome, Mapping between POs to PEOs, Mapping of COs to Pos, ILO &SLO, Process of OBE, Continuous Quality Improvement, Bloom’s Taxonomy & Order of Learning, Objectives of Accreditation and its Criteria. He instructed the respective departmental SA Committee to take necessary steps to write   Program  Educational Objectives (PEO), Program Outcome (PO), Course Outcome(CO), Student  Learning Outcome (SLO), Mapping of SLO to PEO,PEO to Mission, PO to PEO, Course outcome  to PO He urges the teachers to be more self-conscious about quality education and research, and continuously involved in its improvement by self-competition and teamwork. The seminar was presided over by Prof. Dr. Abdul Hamid Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies.
