The Mission, Vision, and Objectives of the Faculty of Law

Vision of Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) is one of the leading providers of education in law among the private universities in Bangladesh. The instruction offered by the Faculty is of high standards. The Faculty of Law is committed to providing quality education and also strives to instill moral values into the students. All teachers are well qualified and dedicated to the development of the students, and many teachers hold foreign qualifications.

The Faculty now offers two programs, namely LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M. Admission to LL.B. (Hons) is based on the results of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations and an admission test; admission to LL.M. is based on the result of LL.B. (Hons) or LLB (Pass), Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations.

Mission of the Faculty

Through quality higher education, research activities, and smooth administrative service, the Faculty of Law strives to prepare graduates who are fit for law-related, multi-dimensional jobs both nationally and internationally. It also devotes to make a good number of graduates filled with legal knowledge and moral height who will contribute to make himself a model person in the society in the light of Islam, to establish justice, rule of law and human rights and to remove injustice, discrimination and corruption from the society, state and world as judges, lawyers, legal advisers and educationalist and so on.

Objectives of the Faculty of Law

  1. Prepare graduates for personal and professional success with awareness of and commitment to their ethical and social responsibilities, both as individuals and in team environments.
  2. Enable graduates to keep on self-development throughout their careers.
  3. Produce graduates with the necessary background and legal and professional skills to work professionally and fulfill the legal needs of society.
  4. Organize conferences, symposia, and workshops to upgrade legal and professional knowledge.
  5. Carry out and publish academic knowledge.
  6. Activities to promote research innovation, commercialization, and Entrepreneurship increase.
